FALA Finals Schedule

FALA will hold finals Monday-Thursday December 11-14th (mornings only) from 8:45-11:40. The afternoons will be reserved for make-up test and studying for the next final. 

 

Friday will be a special conference style advisory held from 8:45-11:40. Students will be able to select workshops that help build resilience.

8th Grade Social Studies will examine 19th century migrations, immigration in America, the rise and fall of nationalism and imperialism, wealth and poverty in America, civil rights movements, and the functions of US government and elections.  There will also be an independent research project on a subject of their choosing.  Students will be able to form in-depth questions, gather evidence, analyze primary and secondary sources (also including maps, charts, and data), and form a supported thesis.
