SOCIAL STUDIES
This is my third year teaching social studies and theatre at FALA. Social Studies teaches how to question the world, and theatre teaches how to question the human experience. I'm thrilled to teach both. My hobbies are playing guitar, reading, and nature appreciation.

ABOUT
UNIVSERITY OF WISCONSIN-MADISON and DePAUL
I have a BA in History Education from UW-Madison and a Masters of Bilingual-Bicultural Education from DePaul University. My research focused on the politics of language education.
MIDWEST EDUCATION
I studied at the Piven Theatre Workshop near Chicago, earned a Theatre concentration from UW-Madison, and directed many school plays and ran the drama club at Chicago International Charter Schools West Belden Campus.
THEATRE
ENGLISH LANGUAGE, MEDIA, and LIBRARY SCIENCE
I taught English in Kyoto, Japan for 1.5 years; taught Library-Media on the west side of Chicago for 5 years; and worked in Academic Support at FALA for one year.
